Would you rather wear long or short socks?

I prefer longer ones for winter. Shorter ones for hiking in summer otherwise no socks at all.

I wear regular ankle socks with high top shoes, no show socks for trainers or low cut shoes, and long socks with boots

I use long socks, because it can "protect" your leg(s) from outside influences like wind, insects, that sort. Especially when its cold.

I prefer the no-show socks when wearing shorts. I feel like I look like a dork in taller socks.

I like long socks. They have more comfort to my feet and if I go below the ankles they might rub against my tennis shoes.
