Do you have trouble thinking of new ideas for topics or are you always on the go and constantly thinking of new ideas? Where do you get your ideas for topics and do you note them down first and write them later, that is if you have thought of a worthy topic?

How important do you think adding new topics to your site is and how many are you adding each day? Do your staff members help out with new topics?

My site is super laid back, so I usually just post about what's on my mind, or if I find something interesting. I feel like new topics are indeed important to keep discussion interesting.

I enjoy responding to members' topics and questions, but have never been the most productive at thinking up topics myself. That's probably why I own forums rather than blogs.

Topics are extremely important, because lots of people like responding to them, sharing their knowledge and giving their opinion. IMO if you have good original topics, you will generally stimulate good discussions.

I am not as talented as some of my members are (have no idea how these guys come up with some excellent topics), but i do try to provide new ones for us to talk. I am pretty good with it (reason I am asked to help with other forums, when I am being hired as a paid poster).

I rarely post a topic unless I'm actually interested or invested in the topic at hand enough to bring it to the entirety of a forum's attention, otherwise I remain passive.
