What if you had a family member & their lawyer had you sign a life long contract to a billion dollar inheritance.

But there's a catch.

The contract states that you have to stay single, & that you can never under any circumstances have a live in partner.

You can have friends and still talk to people, but no men or women partners.

Otherwise the inheritance would be seized by the law firm because of your family members will.

Could you spend your whole life, rich but single under these conditions?

Yes, once you're rich it's easier to choose the right partner, but of course, it depends on how long we're talking about. If you tell me it's a lifelong decision, maybe I'll have some doubts.

I wouldn’t want to do that. I’ve always wanted my own family and now have it but if I didn’t, I’d still want to be able to have that opportunity and not have money held over my head like that.

Honestly, I don’t think I could. Money gives comfort and freedom, but giving up love, companionship, and the chance to share life with someone forever feels like too big a price. Being rich wouldn’t really mean much if I had to live my whole life alone just to keep it.

I don't think that I would have true happiness being single and rich. I am a hopeless romantic and staying single would really make me depressed. I prefer average financial level and being in a relationship.

I won't be rich and single. Who would enjoy the money with me. I would definitely need to have a partner to make my life complete. I don't need that wealth if it means me being single.
