Sarah Palin may want to be your next president, ladies and gents. The former governor of Alaska and former vice presidential candidate said that she's "seriously interested" in a 2016 bid.

On Friday night, Sarah Palin reportedly said "Without putting any words in my mouth, you can absolutely say that I'm seriously interested."

Asked to clarify, Palin then said "I don’t know what all the politically correct terminology is when you talk about being interested in having an opportunity to serve your country. So I don’t know if that’s the right terminology or not... I’m really interested in the opportunity."

Interested in being the next U.S. president or interested in the opportunity to be the next U.S. president? We'll let you decide on what she meant. But either way, would you want Sarah Palin to run in 2016? And would you actually vote for her?

Discuss it like adults. Trying to get activity in this area of the site. Remember the rules.

I found it fun when she was critiquing the newspapers and when the reporter asked her what newspaper did she read today or to name a few she just replied all of them or something like that. So Pailin would be a no for me if I was in the USA.

No way it will happen. She is probably too controversial for the nomination. Personally, I think that Palin was one of the reasons why McCain lost in 2008. I personally would prefer a different candidate from the Republican party.

I likely wouldn't, unless the vote was her or Hillary Clinton. I'll vote for whoever I believe can run the country best.

Now that we have a few replies I'll chip in as well. That's how I'm going to do my threads in these topics I decided. Otherwise who else would join in?

I don't think I'd vote or support Sarah Palin. She's been out of politics for too long and is too much of a show boater. The left wing loves to hate her and she's a personality in and of herself but I don't see that translating to leader. We need a good strong leader and I don't see it in her. Although she does have a one up on many fellow candidates and enemies including Hillary Clinton who will have to fight against the overwhelming public mistrust of her. She's a bygone of old politics, several elections ago, and I don't see her being very relevant. I will say one thing however - I will vote for her before a democrat any day of the week.

I for one would not vote for her. I think she is a complete ding bat, course I guess she would fit right in with the Bush family and our current "leader". About the only candidate I am interested would be Rand Paul.

i'm sure no sane person would vote for her...

she'd be a sham of a president to say the least...

Funny. Most of us said the same thing about Obama. A lot of people voted for him and even still he turned out to be a sham President. I think the election system is unpredictable.
