I've heard multiple times that wrestling is fake. I already know that Raw is fake. I also know that ECW is fake considering it is hosted on Sci-Fi, and all of Sci-Fi's shows are originally made by Sci-Fi. What are you guys' opinions?

WWE is World Wrestling Entertainment. It is more of an act then actual wrestling. Shows like UFC or MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) related, are not fake they are 100% real.

Wrestling is not fake it is called scripted.

If you watch hogans wrestling show he shows what I mean.

Now with that said if you want real full pledged beating the crap out of each other watch mma.

Some mma shows I like are wec and ufc.

I agree Wrestling is not real, they know who will win before the match. Everything is planned and scripted.

Yes, Pro Wrestling is FAKE! WWE, ECW, TNA

It's all scripted, too dramatic, and gotten quite ridiculous lately.

Hasn't anyone noticed how the matches on regular cable, are 5-10 minutes, long? It's just to build hype for PPV matches, which actually are decent. but, still fake.

Sure, the moves, may hurt, after taking so many, but these guys are all friends. Im sure, after the match, they have a few beers, and probably laugh at the audience in the crowd who take it so seruiously.

WWE is acting rather than it being actual wrestling. Though you do have to be fairly fit and strong to do it. I give props to them.

I was watching Monday Night Raw this Monday because I haven't seen it in about 12 months or so. I was noticing how fake it was, but there was this guy (the current world champion) that was getting his arm snapped back by a gang of wrestlers, and it was pretty real if you ask me. Do they actually go that far to try to keep things looking real?

Yes, but the injuries in WWE, ECW, TNA are in fact real.
UFC is the same way, all injuries are real.

They are truly athletes and do get hurt. It's good to watch if you need some laughs.

It wasn't real. He did injury himself at the PPV, so they had to come up with a way for him to be out for a few weeks to recover. So, the chair and his arm was the plan.

i actually give some credit to the wrestlers, its not easy to fake some of the moves they do like flips and so on and not dying -lol- . of course its fake, but its still fun to watch -D-

Incorrect UFC is not the same.

UFC is 100% real plus no storylines...

Its for entertainment.
But at the end of the day, as long as you like it,
thats all that matters

Yes its fake and scripted. I dont see whats so entertaining about watching men running around in their underwear, throwing each other around.

UFC is pretty cool though. Those are real fights.

Agreed.

I don't watch WWE but I would assume it's fake judging by all the comments here.

"Wrestling is not fake it is called scripted."

errr isnt that the same thing ~rolleyes~

I went to see WWE a few years back, worst drivel my eyes have been exposed to. Saw Ring of Honor about a year afterwards, Amazing stuff!!

Lmao, Theez! That's the exact way to describe wrestling. ~twisted~

All 'wrestling federations' are scripted. I mean, it's not fake, because when someone breaks there back and looks in REAL pain then you can see it's not fake, it's just a scripted performance gone wrong.
If it wasn't then you wouldn't see a little fella like Hornswoggle beating The Great Khali.

WWE is sooo hetero that its gay... And yes, it is fake. UFC looks real, but most of the time it seems like they are cuddling on the floor rather than fighting.
