Well i have no idea where to look or what sort of script i need.

basiclly i want a writers log in section, with a place where I can set tasks to be completed and when they do them they can edit what they have done, anyone know what i mean?

Ahhh I know what you mean, is it like where there are links to different posting jobs, you can claim a certain amount, then do them and click done them all, or something like that?

Doesn't sound like the kind of thing you'll get for free if I'm honest.

Hmm... don't know if I can help you much. Here's a link to a Joomla plugin that'll do what your asking: http://teamlog.yootheme.com/ .

I don't know of any standalone software that free that'll do what your asking but since you have a forum couldn't you make a hidden section where you post projects and updates and get feedback etc.?
