According to the Official website of WWE Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson will confront John Cena to the next Wrestlemania XXVIII which will be take place at Miami. :cheer:

I saw Dwayne Johnson and John Cena last night(on Monday night RAW) agree to a match at the next Wrestlemania. Should be a good match. I definitely like what The Rock is cookin'. :great:

It's going to be epic when The Rock returns to in ring competition, Shame we have to wait a year.

WWE sucks now because of this whole PG crap. It was at it's best in 2001... back when Kane wasn't a complete joke. Masked Kane was a pure monster but when they unmasked him they gave him crap stories and he's a lot weaker now thanks to age. Kids aren't scared of him like they would have been 10 years ago and all the audience is now are pre-teen Cena fan boys who are as quiet as mice. The audience were much better 10 years ago when every move had people cheering and on their feet.

Rant over lol

I agree that 9-10 years ago, WWE was at it's best. But now that The Rock is back, it's only a matter of time before the fans get back on his side. They seem to cheering more for John Cena now. But at least we know The Rock is staying for another year yet.

More people that have changed since 2001 are Kane, Undertaker, Big Show and Triple H.

WWE just announced today that they are changing their name. They will no longer be known as a wrestling company.

As far as Rock vs Cena, I wish it would happen at Summerslam, instead of Wrestlemania. And as long as the Rock beats the overrated Cena, I'll be happy.

The name stays the same, it's just the initals won't mean anything.

The company previously known as World Wrestling Entertainment formally announced Thursday that it has changed it's business name to WWE, Inc. These initials now carry no meaning.

Why does WWE not mean anything anymore?

Here is a quote:

As has been reported, the move stems from WWE’s continued desire to escape the stigma of the word “wrestling.” WWE wants to be portrayed as a global entertainment business, and it has slowly been removing all references to ‘wrestling’ from its business items, merchandise and television shows.

For proof of that, look no further than WWE Chairman Vince McMahon’s statement on the name change, which blatantly references pro wrestling without actually saying the words.

“The new business model of the company better reflects what WWE is all about, being a global entertainment company,” stated Vince McMahon, Chairman and CEO, WWE. “We will always be loyal to our core business that made WWE a globally known entity, however, the future of WWE will be the addition of new entertainment content opportunities beyond the ring.”

They don't want to be known only for wrestling, but as an entertainment company.

WWE’s new branding initiative includes the slogan “Bigger. Badder. Better.”

For me WWE, is the best wrestling show. 🙂

I think we should wait until drafts done for good, to say something for the show. It will be a great story!
