The sixth season of X Factor commences next Saturday on ITV1, so who here will be watching it? For me, I'm avoiding it as I'm beginning to dislike X Factor now.

I'll definitely be watching it. It's far superior to its American equivalent. Not to mention that the auditions are being held in front of a live audience similar to BGT.

I watched some of the auditions last Saturday, and I actually can't stand the live audience. I miss the audition room where it's the judges only and you sing without music. The whole point of the show was that you audition alone with the hopes of making it to a live audience. I've heard the ratings have gone down a lot since they did this.

ratings may have gone down but i think the quality of contestants has risen a lot this year
