Doesn't appeal to me the slightest(and not because its a hacking forum) because, you didn't do any work on the skin at all. You can go to the SMF site and get a skin that other people have made. Or (i think) go to their forums and request a skin to be made.

Maybe you could try designing a SuperMario-ish skin to go with your site. It would be a lot more appealing that way, especially because your current skin doesn't shout 'Super Mario' with the dark skin.
