Just leave the topic, stop making other people's experiences decline through lack of enjoyment from people arguing.

Only problem with TOS's is that people never read them, they do contain valuable information and should be read before taking up services. Like the saying goes "Always check the fine print!".

That's what my account was deleted for. But I had it for over a month, and decided not to use it any more.

People don't tend to read the TOS (i count myself in that most of the time) but you can't really turn around and complain when you account gets deleted baring in mind you agree to the terms when you sign up and confirm you read the TOS.

Yeah, but after 7 hours? It says that you have to login to the forum once every two weeks. And I'm fairly sure his account was active, given he had only set it up.

This comes down to "You get what you pay for". You get free hosting, expect a naff service. Why? Because the host doesn't benefit from you being there. The moment they start get something back is when you're suddenly their friend.

Besides, if Jelsoft find your vBulletin installation they'll be in touch with x10 to close your account. I find it uncanny how you can afford vBulletin but not a paid host. My guess is that it's one of those nulled ones from rapishare or something. (oh, and if that's the case you're not allowed to promote it here).

I am pretty sure it was a nulled version of VB as in this users other account before he his other account was banned, he posted a nulled version of vb on this forum which he was reported for back then.

Some people think just because they have vb that their forum is going to be a success where as if they use a free software it is going to fail.

Most free scripts have mods that will do all vB's stuff for you. I actually don't like vB much myself. The ACP is full of clutter. Half the stuff, I wouldn't want anyway.

Yeah that is the same with alot of people.

They think if it has a price it is going to work or be better then fi you do not need to pay.

Yet I consider SMF a close competitor to VB.

Oh well people all have their own opinion.
