Referral Contest
Here's how this one will go . . .
1. You go out and solicit your friends, enemies, loved ones, padnahs, pals; to come and join Xbotica!
2. Your friend, enemy, loved one, padnah, pal registers an account at http://forum.xbotica.com/register/
3. This new member then makes an introduction topic in the Intro Chamber forum and after introducing themselves, they also state "_________ referred me to join so here I am!" (or something stating who referred them).
That simple.
Now some rules:
1. Your referral must be a new member that has not had an account previously or currently.
2. If your referrals make only 1 post (in the Intro Chamber) by end of the contest, they will NOT be counted. We only want active referrals, and they must make at least 10 posts during the contest time.
3. Referrals cannot signup using a proxy server or attempt to mask their IP.
4. Past referrals do not count. Only referrals from the starting date to the ending date of this contest count.
5. New referrals can participate in next contest (if they want to invite their friends), or they can participate in this contest if they gather 40 posts during the contest time.
6. Anyone caught attempting to cheat, or actually cheating, will dealt with harshly and not allowed to participate in any further contests.
So what's the prize?
First and Second place will both receive prizes in this contest!
First Place had the most valid referrals = 6 (six) months free hosting!
Hosting space courtesy of TIERRA Hosting. The winner of this prize will have an account created with TIERRA Hosting and his/her account will be credited for the amount of six months hosting of the Special Offer Plan. Prize includes all options usually provided with the Special Offer Plan; including unlimited email accounts, unlimited MySQL databases, 500 MB storage space and 10 GB of monthly bandwidth!
Second Place had almost as many valid referrals, but less, than First Place = 6 (six) months free hosting!

The winner of this prize will have an account created with TIERRA Hosting and his/her account will be credited for the amount of six months hosting of one webpage. This webpage will only be a static page written in html, css, javascript, jquery, or php. No MySQL access available, no email service, nor server access (control panel).
