XenForo Add-on

I am thinking about buying XenForo and was wondering what Add-on would you recommend for any XenForo forum. Also, how is installing add-on on XenForo like? Does it take long amount of time like on phpBB or is it short and easy like on MyBB?

XenForo addons are like MyBB, only you upload files via. FTP or whatnot but you install add-ons by uploading an XML in the Admin CP. But yeah, it's generally easy like MyBB.

This, There is a nice variety of XenForo addon's already available despite it being so new and fresh. The ones i would recommend from using them and how popular they are, well the [LN] Blog addon is a great way to expand on just your forum, recent status updates are used quite alot and are very popular amongst members from what i have seen on my own forum and others too. The recent users online is also another great feature if you want to promote your activity and show that your forum gets some nice traffic (Possibly inviting to new visitors) and recent topics/recent posts that display a snippet of your latest content on the sidebar, the reason i would think this is a good addon is because it is advertising your latest content on your homepage/index (which is always your highest viewed page) and that will make a member go "Ooo that looks interesting, i will have to check it out" or along those lines lol it promotes healthy discussion 🙂

But yeah, the ones i would reccomend the most are:

LN Blogs
Recent status updates
Recent users online
Recent topics/posts

Thanks for clarifying that. I was little confused because I saw that for some add-on you have to got aand edit files like phpBB.

Thanks, I usual look round on my own but without add-on manager it is hard look through add-ons.

By the way is there a cash add-on? I been looking but can't find one.
Never mind, I found it.
