When we announced XenForo Cloud a little while back, we were encouraged by the great feedback we received. Having taken onboard all your comments, we have been hard at work refining our offering to make it an even more compelling proposition, and today we are ready to talk about some of the changes we've implemented.

Faster

Not content with already offering the industry's most capable and responsive infrastructure, we are now using even more powerful hardware with faster clock speeds and local NVMe solid state storage.

Better

While we had originally intended to make an initial outing for XenForo Cloud without add-on support, we have made advances in this field such that we will now launch with full add-on support, just as you would have on a self-hosted deployment. Just install the add-on from the add-on archive/zip file in your admin control panel.*

Register your interest

To help us test the next phase of XenForo Cloud please register your interest. If you have already done so, there is no need to do it again. A number of customers (both new and existing) will be invited to sign up for the XenForo Cloud beta at a hugely discounted rate of $30 per month or get two months free by signing up for a full year ($300 per year).

We are not yet ready to offer a data migration service, so priority will be given to those looking to launch a new community.

We look forward to welcoming you at the start of our journey and look forward to seeing you grow your community on XenForo Cloud.

* Some add-ons may not be compatible with XenForo Cloud or may require further review by XenForo before being approved.

I like the idea however it has many restrictions as im used to running my own server but it's great for admins that are doing one site and dont want to mess with a server.

Saw it the other day. Is there a lot of interest ?
Seems to be some.

It's a good solution for people get XF up and running with limited technical skills or who don't want to deal with the hosting side, as well. So guessing their target audience isn't super concerned with being able to do heavily technical things, anyway.

I’m in to IT so I won’t need this but for beginner website/forum owners it’s definitely ideal.

ya I have it just wanted to test it out, not sure what I'm going to use it for LOL

This looks cool, I mean It's Beta and so it's a risk to take on a large site

I don't think it's worth the money they are asking, it's so much cheaper to self host.
I agree it may be cheaper but it may be a better option for the non-tech guy that wants a forum. Learning to make a website and a forum can be over-whelming for the new user much less getting a domain name and starting to look for the many types of hosting. Most people thing more is better and most of the time it is but that doesnt mean you have to have the largest server to run a forum. This Xenforo Cloud allows the new user to setup a forum and focus on the forum.

Sure, but if you run a business, you don't really have time to manage a web host, upgrades, security and all that. It's so much easier to just pay someone else to manage everything, which is why I'm sure this cloud hosting will be just as popular as all the other cloud services from their competitors.

I still have a test site on there however I won't bother doing anything else on it unless you have some sort of access to do migrations or file edits.
