Xenforo license

I own a Xenforo license, but nowadays I don't own forums anymore. I was wondering if I should hang onto it, or sell it.

Depends, when I sold my vbulletin license I kind of regretted it afterwards

I'd keep one license of my favorite software sitting around in case I needed it. Even if you don't want to start a forum any time soon, if you start any kind of business venture or open source project it's nice to have a forum for it.

I think you should keep it, just in case you find a need to start up a forum in the future. It's good to keep a backup!. 😉

I've owned vB and IPB licenses. I sold both of them and I'm glad I did both times. I used the sale of the vB licence to fund my purchase of an IPB license and I used the sale of my IPB license to pay that years hosting bill, domain renewal and purchased a couple premium themes for my next software (MyBB). It was fun experimenting with those paid softwares but in the end I needed to do what was best for my wallet (no more renewal fees to pay) and the community doesn't seem to mind what software we happen to be on, just as long as it works. 🙂
