Thanks Empire. I am not planning to change the theme completely at the moment, but make some minor changes to the current one. This is because I don't want to recode the theme for MyBB 1.9 again when it releases. You can see I have a task listed to plan for a new theme in our backlog.

What makes your site unique? There’s lots of general discussion forums out there that don’t last long due to fatigue. Is there anything that your brings to increase the longevity?

I have got a lot of things planned for xiraa but yes its going to take time to implement all of them. I won't reveal all of them just yet, because they are in planning stage atm.

Only thing I can say now is that its not just going to be a general discussion forum.
