XP Or Vista?

Got my laptop with Windows 7 and my main PC with XP not heard good reports of Vista to be honest so I never upgraded my Desktop.

Vista - I've used it, didn't have any problems with it, it was pretty good to me lol.

Vista- easier to navigate than XP, and quick bootup if you have the right specs.

My mother in law's laptop came with Vista on it, it has a reasonable processor (about 2 Ghz) and 1 Gb of RAM. It runs like a dog.

Something I found on the web is to remove all sorts of crap that comes with your computer, also known as crapware, with DeCrapifier.

XP > Vista. It's more efficient, and Vista's a Ram hog (my computer is fine). Ubuntu > Windows, but Mac is really good too. Both Linux distros and Mac are much more efficient than Windows, and you don't really have to worry about viruses/spyware.

I still use XP and it hasn't given me any problems. Regardless of what everyone says about it being slow and all that, it gets it done and I never get "Microsoft word has stopped working, Microsoft word is now shutting down" like I get on a vista laptop I sometimes use. 😉

I'm in love with you.

I use Windows XP and it gets the job done. It's much faster than Vista was on this laptop (my laptop came with Vista and I did a quick upgrade when I got tired of Vista). I wouldn't mind trying Windows 7, though.

7<Vista>XP. 'Nuff said.

Windows 7 is just a "more user-friendly" version of Vista.

I got one laptop with xp and the other with vista and i think they are both great and ive never had a problem with vista, so id say vista the most.

XP FTW.

Vista sucks. I thought it would be better than XP, but XP is way better.

See what XP is doing to Vista

XP << lol

Another uninformed Mac user.
