Hey, I've been working on a new site design the past two days and wondered what people thought about it? It's still a working progress but if I finish it and it proves popular it will replace my current site design.

The notice in the footer...Site best viewed in Safari or Firefox... isn't true. It looks better in Google Chrome, to be honest. 🙂
I like the overall design.

It would be helpful if you tell me what you don't like about it, then I could make possible changes 😉
 
The wood and the blue don't go also your adding some orange, so that don't blend very well, perhaps try some grey floor boarding graphic material, if you get me.
 
Thanks for your input Lee, although I don't understand where you get the orange colour from or are you referring to the wood colour on the nav bar? Also I think it look pretty good with the blue and wood design, but thanks for the suggestions 🙂
 
Maybe you should change the brown in the menu, although I love it.
 
Yeah, I do like the wood on the navigation bar although having said that changing it to something else, dark grey or what have you would probably suit it better.

The brown wood doesn't go well with the blue. There isn't any meaning behind that design or that combination of blue and brown wood. I think if you change the wood part to something else more "hand in hand", it would suit.

maybe to blue or black.
 
I meant the orange in your banner also I think a whole complete different image, basically Xplozion see's the web as your personal design portfolio and general chill out zone why not create some images and place some icons basically best describing the site.
 
For a profession web designer, it's very bland. I think I prefer the old Xploxion more. Maybe combine what was good of Xplozion v2 into v3?
 
What was it that you guys liked about it as I'll try and bring back certain things, although I myself prefer the new design.
