Yahoo Answers for SEO?

It's a direct method to promote your site in-front of live Users there. It's really the best tricks to build links & traffic too.

Yahoo answers is one of the best way to getting authority links even the links are no-follow. But its useful for driving direct relevant traffic.

Its really hard to keep yahoo answers account. Even a minor issue will result in account suspension and deletion of all the answers.

Yes it is a good way to promote your links and increase traffic, just ensure that one gives to the point answers and that too effective one. And overdoing the promotional thingy might get the user banned, so be advised. There are various levels on yahoo answers and you cannot put a direct link until you cross at least level two. One can put the link either in the message body or in the source box provided below the message body.

I feel that it can help with SEO purposes. If you have a good answer then add your link people will be more attracted to visit the site if you know what you are talking about.

Anyone use Yahoo Answers to help in their SEO efforts? I have been ranked as the "Best Answer" for a few questions in my specific niche for a few websites and noticed some good quality traffic start to come in on a regular basis just from that.

Have any of you had any good traffic come from Yahoo answers or use it previously to try and build backlinks or traffic?

I've always thought of Yahoo Answers as being more for direct traffic (such as reader sees your answer and clicks through on source link), rather than a place to leave backlinks for SEO.

Yes, right. Yahoo answer is a great source to increase your sales by directly communication with the targeted customer there who is looking for your products, services.

I think it is not appropriate to reply answer to a question having no relevance to your site link in the source.
