If I am not mistaken @Jazzy this reduction is likely due to the system they have in place that removes threads that don't bring forth replies.

@ChrisGrigg: This is the correct answer to your question. Any thread over 30 days old without a reply is automatically purged. This is done for 2 reasons: 1) Any thread without a reply for that long, means no one is interested in replying. 2) We like to keep our forum stats as 'true stats' and not over-inflated to make our forum look like we have more threads than we actually do.
