Yoga/Pilates

Anyone here do Yoga or Pilates?

I've been doing both for a couple of months. Very good for my spine curvature, in a lot less pain as before. Gret fun too.
 
Never tried yoga, but I have always wanted to. I would like to go into zen and be with myself.
 
I would lose patience so quickly... 😛 I don't think I could do yoga or pilates honestly, if I cannot even get on a routine to work out I probably would not stick to doing yoga. xD
 
It's all about getting the mind focused on breathing techniques, Pilates in similar but I find abit for technical.
Both challenge me and my body but gaining benefits.
 
I'm sure it is really relaxing, and helps with stress as well. I've never gotten into it yet. We kind of integrates yoga into my Karate classes but that is reaching for it lol.
 
I'm not a fan of yoga to be honest. If I'm going to spend time working out, I need it to either help me get in better shape, or help me gain muscle. Yoga doesn't really do either one, so I generally just go to the gym and workout instead.
 
I tried a few of those at home lessons (video classes +book) before but never really got into it. I think classes are more for me though so I may try it again in the future. I didn't really have all the "supplies" either, just a basic cheap yoga mat that wasn't too comfortable.
 
I do Yoga and I love it! I do Yoga 3 times a week. I've been doing this for the last 6 months and I've noticed how much more flexible I got, more stronger with balance and such and how much more 'relaxed' I've become. Yoga is great!

I have not tried Pilates yet but maybe someday I will.
 
Yea Annabelle, Because I have spine issues and also Fibromyalgia there are some really painful spots on my body. I had to buy a really thick , like 4 inch foldable mat, Even then my hips when I lay on my side are so painful.
I have blocks and bands, but I need to get myself a bolster.

Flash - My balance was shocking before I started, I have definatly noticed an improvement. And I could never do plank positions, Now I can get myself into the position and hold it for like 5 secs, not much I know but much better than not being able to do it at all.
