Ok I feel the need to have a rant on here and see who takes my side in this, I have just had a big argument with my mum over the pronunciation of the word yoghurt.
Do you say it (yogurt) or (yoh-ghurt) ??
I don't really see a difference, maybe because I've never heard anyone say it other than (yogurt). And I'm in the south! 😛
Maybe the way I put it up wasn't the best, the other way would be (yaw-ghurt).
I think, not sure, that I say it more like yoh-ghurt but definitely not yaw-ghurt. I am a New Zealander though... 😛
I stick with yohghurt as well cause the other way sounds a bit daft
iPad says:
yogurt
I agree with it. 😛
I say yogurt. No 'h' sound here. 😛
I say YO GURT! Yeah, cause Gurt's my pal. Haha, no idea how there could be an "h" in the pronunciation. So yeah, I'm on the "yogurt" side. If it's written like that, lets just say it like it reads. 😛 😀
Finally! An arguement I can actually win with someone and back it up with proof!

How can you "win" it? We're all entitled to pronounce things however we want.
😛
I suppose I'm not winning the argument, but she was trying to make it out as if nobody says yo-gurt, when clearly this is not the case 😛
