Sanders: 'Your $8.99 Netflix subscription is more than the company paid in federal income taxes'

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) targeted Netflix in a tweet, accusing the company of paying less in federal income taxes than the cost of a monthly subscription.

According to Netflix's 10-K form, the company paid $133,146,000 in foreign taxes, but nothing to US government. Sanders is wanting to make a change to that and make them pay US federal government. Do you agree with his statement?

If they pay more to the US then the cost of our subscriptions will go up to cover the taxes. I never knew they paid so much to other countries!

I wish I could cut off netflix and go with something better. But netflix offers so far good features that is keeping me in.

There's always some form of loophole the rich and greedy can use to get away with paying taxes or breaking the law in one way or another. Yet the commoner would be locked up in shackles and tried in court.
