My favorite is Gimp it gets what I need done and it has been the 2nd easiest to get use to. Paint.NET was easiest to get use to.

I disagree with you. GIMP is just as good as Photoshop only it's free and you can make good images with Paint also, if you have the skill and patience.

I don't have PS or GIMP so I'll have to say paint.NET, even though I know it isn't the best.
