Your girlfriend/boyfriend is older or younger than you?

My 5 year long relationship he is 3 years older than me with the mentality of a 16 year old. So that made it fun.
I tend to date older, however now the older I get the more I don't mind a little younger. I don't want to start dating men in their 30's really... so my selection is getting slimmer. When I was 17 and stuff though I was always interested in guys up to 25, which is a pretty big age gap. The oldest I'd date right now is 29. 😛

I consider myself quite immature for my age (in some ways), so I don't think a relationship with someone significantly older would work well. My current romantic interest is a little less than a year older, and I think that is reasonable.
@Shortie861 is older than me by 4 years. 🙂
My wife is 10 years younger then me, but at +60 and +50, it does not matter . We were both much younger when we
first got together, no we are both somewhat older.

As far as "friends" , we both have many friends, and some are younger, some are older,
Some are male , some are female,...friends are friends, "boy friend" "girl friend", a friend is a friend, and if the age matters, maybe they aren't really a friend after all.

First of, I'd like to know the main purpose of the question. Are we trying to implore that the person older should be more mature and take all the responsibilities?
Age doesn't really come with maturity..and that has been proven million times already.

I don't currently have a significant other. However, I typically date older. Occasionally I'll chat with a younger guy, but we just don't get far because of lack of maturity. 😛 Though even with older guys I have that issue still lol.
