My site is 28 days old at 7pm GMT, for those who have used us, just visited us, what do you like, don't like, if you have critism please make it constructive and what you would do differently.

Theme = No.

Honestly I dislike you theme a lot. It doesn't look professional or playful or anything..it looks sloppy. Not trying to be rude or anything, but you wanted to know opinions.

I like the theme. You transform prosilver into the prohazey. I really like your forum. I would definitely join if I know more about graphics.

Wordgraph on your portal is useless. If it was for SEO purposes, that sort of stuff doesn't work anymore, since not all Google Links are created equal (anymore).

@Volux, what your mean it doesn't look professional/playful, you need to give me reasons why, Its a one of theme and custom built and how many custom themes do you see, plus its css and xhtml strict as well.

It's alright not liking it but to say it's sloppy does come across rude, given the hours I put into designing it.

@Coppa we are not just a graphics site, we are also a services, forum and general discussion forum.

@el canadiano thanks was thinking the same, cheers.

Who was here could also be removed as well in the portal.

As for your theme, all you really need is a different font. I'd assume it's done through the CSS, so look for font-family. I suggest Tahoma for this.

Let me ask you this, when you started, what did you expect your post/member count to be on the 28th day? You achieved 5000 posts in your first month, so why not write down some goal in getting 12 000 posts after 2 months. Give yourself some small tasks to work on and you will see a major difference.

I believe the portal is not needed for such a young forum. It serves no promotional purpose. Its one extra page from the real content, its one extra click from the real thing. I have one click which I am able to do, I would want to have seen your forum and then use that one click to register, but since I can't see your content, I use that one click to go back.

I personally think its a little crammed in the footer. I prefer simple layouts and simple design. You could have a jquery stats changer or something to clear the footer up. The theme isn't bad, yet the pattern of the table headers is not of my personal liking. The theme feels still a little default. The icons are half way there, the "FAQ, Rules, Register, Login" seems default, and so its a small turn off.

Overall, in respect to many forums at the exact same time, regardless of when it was made, after 28 days, you've done a fine job. I signed up because the username "David" was available 😛

I think the font is okay.

Why what's wrong with the font el canadiano

It's more that I believe in uniqueness, so try to stay away from the default phpBB 3 fonts. Also, there are some fonts that really work well in forum themes, such as Tahoma.

thanks fro the feedback david, the icons are all getting done, the imageset is still a work in process, Not looked at the footer like that so will take on board your idea, the forum is not the only part of the site hence the front page, which brings together all the other areas and again there is room for improvement to as what content I have, I have goals having had 10 years plus working with phpBB that's what I use the blog for

I said I wasn't trying to be rude, I was just giving honest feedback lol. I knew you would take it personal like that..most people do. Even I do..

"modsdb", bad idea. If I was a potential hacker, you've made my job 200x easier by listing your installed mods and their respective versions. Now all I'd have to do is search for a security hole for that particular mod that matches that particular version.

While you can't stop hackers, you can make it harder for them at least.

Well its a good job that those mods have no security holds then isnt it 🙂

I honestly think your style is best phpBB style out there. It has my favorite shade of blue and it is just breathtaking. There two thing I don’t like about your site, the Portal and News page. The problem with the Portal is it has too much things on it. You should remove useless things like the Clock, Calendar, Recent Images, Newest members, and Last 10 visited bots. Unlike the Portal the I think the News Page should deleted.

Gald you like my style its a one of style I designed myself, thanks also for your thoughts on the portal and news page, will taker your thoughts into consideration
