Do you have an inner circle of connections in some way with similar sites that you use to show a presence to gain traffic? Is this a type of marketing technique you use and is it effective? It could be daily exchanges with the same forums? Or more?

I enjoy connecting with many people online from all over the world, some connections i have are good friends and do help where they can, but on the same level i do enjoy when not working for clients going out in the wide web world and search for forums and communities with the same interests i have to build long lasting friendships. 🙂
Not anymore. I've learned enough to go about doing things better on my own. But I definitely did things like that in the past.
I actually really prefer the challenge of marketing. So I like taking it alone so that I learn what works and what doesn't.
For message forums, the marketing challenge is even harder and I've enjoyed it so far.

Mostly solo, but wouldn't mind a good connection for forum stuff. Although I do have a very small group of peers in the greater business world we often shoot ideas off of each other.

I do my own marketing. I do have a few exchanges that I do with other people. I also have my blog attached to Facebook and Twitter so that my articles are automatically appearing on social media the minute that I post them on my blog.
I once was a part of a facebook group where the members would share their website content and visit other members websites. The admin was strict in enforcing the rule because you could share your work only after visiting 5 other websites. However, I am not active on this group anymore.
