Your limited to 3 ad spaces, how would you use them?

This question is mainly for those who have adsense. I hope this sparks a good discussion. I remember from when I had adsense (if the rules stayed the same), you are only allowed a max of 3 ad units per page.

So the discussion I'd like to see is how do you utilize the 3 ad spaces the best (or even creatively) so as to make money without getting in the way of your site's audience?

1 rectangle ad in the header, 1 rectangle or square ad in the footer.1 ad in the sidebar or in between some of the posts.

I have a leaderboard ad directly above the entire site, a regular banner ad above the titles of each article and below.
