Okay I was just thinking about this and I want some feedback on this thought, if you are for example a review staff member and you had tagged a review but later had decided you just couldn't fill the job anymore and you posted in the staff forum or contacted an administrator or team leader that you could no longer take on the job and they request that you do the review you tagged, do you think the resigning reviewer should have to do that review or do you think it would be a bad idea, or that they just straight out shouldn't have to do it since they resigned.
I do think that if you say you're going to do something, then you should do it, but there are many Team members and it isn't a major drama if they take up a bit more work if one staff member is unable to continue. :S
I agree with you on that concept, however what if their is a team of reviewers on the team but none of them are active and you have done most of the reviews before that?
I feel that one should complete all current/outstanding projects that have already been promised before resigning unless the circumstances dictate otherwise. If I were in the situation and there wasn't a team of others to pick up my duties, I would be the first to help seek out my replacement.
Basically, if your Reviewer tags it, they do it. Unless the forum doesn't load properly, they have trouble viewing things etc, then they should do what they said they would. There is no excuse for laziness.
I think that you can have the right and do have the right not to fullfil it. I personally would but I would make good use of it as it will be the last reciew of the site that your a reviewer on but as Master said, Finish what you started.
Personally from my point of view, looking upon this situation as an Admin myself, I would take it into my own hands that if a staff member wants to step down, and they aren't able to do there job like they are suppose to, then I would let them step down. As the owner of the forum, I believe it is your responsibility to keep your members happy, you can fight the staff member behind the scenes to finish the review all you want but it doesn't mean it's going to happen.
