I just spent $100 on a TDL I have that's pretty good *Cloths.Cheap* On the site I had someone say they'd be willing to pay $500 for it, and another said they'd spend $1,000 on it. So I decided to sell it. How do you all feel about flippa, has it been profitable for you? I'm kind of sketched out as I had to pay $100 for something I'm not guaranteed to have sold. How many times have you sold something on there, and how many times have you been ripped off from it?

Flippa is a solid site if you're looking to sell certain types of websites or forums. Webmaster forums and blogs generally sell pretty well, while most personal stuff, as well as political sites/forums generally don't seem to sell very well. I don't recommend buying much off Flippa, though. Most of their sales are fairly bad deals for the buyer, or the sites will require a lot of time to become productive.

Flippa is a good name for some only. A strong website with good counts will always bid higher compared to other smaller deals.

If you're looking for a starter site or something to build off of as a base I think it's a good site. There's some nice websites and blogs listed on there. The forum portion hasn't really taken off yet it seems, there's only a limited majority and they're either large million plus post forums with big prices, or small, dead, forums with too high of a price. Most are pretty niche as well.

I do like the idea of Flippa and how it is ran though.

I would suggest to be careful with Flippa. Flippa is good if you want to purchase a fairly new site but before buying an established site , I would recommend you to check with teamviewer that stats of the site shown in the site are real since there are a lot of people who post fake stats.

I wouldn't personally buy any site from there but it's just my own opinion 🙂

I wouldn't buy anything on there because there are lots of scammer's on there because there are websites that could make money with Adsense when the traffic is bad and you will get banned from Adsense and you can't make a new one! Also, a lot of starter sites on there don't get bought due to the people who sell them think they can make a huge amount of money without doing much work! If you want to earn some money in a growing site, make sure you do research into what you are doing.

I have used flippa to sell websites. I have sold a lot of websites through flippa. It is very safe to sell through Flippa as you can use Escrow services. However, I stopped using Flippa after they increased their listing fee and reduced listing period.

I tried selling my forum through flippa but didn't have any luck. I wasted my money on listening fees.
