I need your opinions, this was orginally written by me on my forum.

Hello,
Recently our board has been in a coma if you will. We have not received any of the things that were promised to us, and much of our activity truly is exchanges.

I have been pondering this for a while. I think we should close up Forum Ads, Delete our whole set up, start fresh on a new board software and start a Teen Advice and Chat Board.

However, this is up to everyone. Our board will not be one of those perverts filled boards but a moderated hot center. A place for teens to actually have fun.

Many Bam Media Sites have already closed up and one remaining is this board. If we were to reopen as a teen genera board, it would be our whole time working on it.

The name of the forum would be Chat Bam, given it is our domain. It will not be a social network but a fun board for teen to hang out. We want to hear from you, please vote in the poll. Please give some idea/feeling and thoughts on why you choose what you did.

Well I think they're any many promotion forums out there and FP being the main one, I thinking having a 'Teen Based Board' would be okay I suppose, depends though, would you start completely fresh or just archive the existing posts?

I think starting completely fresh would be a pretty good idea because at the moment if your not getting any activity then there is no point carrying on to be honest, well you should think of new ways to get a forum going.

but aside from that, think, how long did it take you to get FA advertised and running? If it took you a while, why just destroy all the success?

@Xplosion, we do have a lot of competition and yes, as stated, we will start completely fresh.

@Dasher, Exsisting Staff will be given VIP permissions, which will prove to be valuable with what I plan on doing. Due to the fact that it is a promotion based board, we can only advertise on half the normal sites that we can.

The problem is Forum Ads would still be chatbam. Chat Bam, our domain can't change. So It would be weird have another board named chatbam without the domain.

You could move Forum Ads to http://forumads.chatbam.com

Our space is limited, we can't run two boards on one site 😛 too big.

I do not think it is possible that running 2 boards on 1 host is "too big". How big are your backups?

The Community got too big. We had 10k posts, I had to lower other stats to get more space 😛

If you had 10k posts then i do not see a reason why you would want to close it 😀

Also, you can always find a new host for the new forum you are trying to launch.
