This is kinda weird but I would like to know what the general webulation thinks of my blog instead of just the review team 🙂

This is great, but some one may be using a slow connection, or the site's servers are located here and not there. This is just for you, just one person, and so it doesn't help the wider audience. Maybe clarifying it with "...loaded up on my screen, with a relatively fast cable connection" etc.I would like to start off with the fact that I didn’t even have a moment to blink before your site loaded up on my screen.
A lot of ads don't always turn off users. Digital Point for example, has tonnes of ads, yet many return users. Ads aren't bad, just how the ads are placed is bad. Its in your personal view that ads are bad, not an objective judgment. You also don’t seem to have an abundance of advertisements placed all over the place on your home page and if you do they aren’t extremely obvious and ugly.
Is the forum news more important, or the forum content? Fergal's BAF, DigitalPoint, PromoJunkie etc. have the news and intros at the bottom of all the forums. Content is more important, though it depends on the genre.Your forums layout also seems very well planned, you have the important things like the sites news, feedback, and welcoming center in your first category and then your services which makes it very simple for users to find!
131 members is very, very small for a forum, especially when you are trying to attract forum owners of different shape and size. This shows you are not thinking of the wider audience, the real deal, and other similar forums, eg. phpbb.com's forumYou have a large number of members and a fairly decent number of posts on your forum which is definitely a good thing but it doesn’t seem the activity is all there.
