Theme is a bit bright in my opinion. Where's all the starting content?

We wont be opening till a few so everything is perfect before we launch i will start creating some content the first thing im focusing on the Theme & Forums to discuss in.

What makes it bright? The background if so what colour should the background be?

I think it's the bright category images(gradients). That blue is a bit too neon in my opinion 😉
