Mine are increasing from search engine and alexa rank is also sky rocketing.
@Thedon90, you might want to get good traffic from search engine. That's the way to get free traffic and those are the one that really are looking for your site, depending upon if you can keep them with your site.

Additionally, if you have a forum, i guess you should post content that people are looking for on search engine, not what you feel likes to.

1. Getting a domain name is good thing. It's better to have a domain name according to your site's niche. However, it's not everything, content is everything.
2. You added your website to google, doesnt mean you will have loads of visitors from google. You will have visitors from google if you have the content which users put in search query in google. Example :: How to be a good wwe fighter?

To bring it at 1 or 2nd you need to do seo.In simple terms optimise your website. It can be done by correct coding and putting keywords in your content. You also need to have off page optimization for that, which are backlinks from good website. Backlinks help google understand how many other websites has trust on you so they backlinks to your website.
