What was your worst sunburn? How do you deal with it?

I would have to say that the worst sunburn I had, was when I had just turned 12. We went to go to Disney Land, and each day before we went to the theme park, we would go out to the beach for a couple of hours to swim. Sufficiently to say, I had boils all over my shoulders and back, and was sun sick for atleast a few weeks after that. Took care of it by applying aloe vera to it, and staying inside for the next month straight.

I have very fair skin and burn easily, so I've had many bad ones in my life time. At least a few blistered.

The most impactful was probably the one I got a few days before getting married :confounded: All it took was sitting outside (in the shade) for an hour or so, and both of my arms were bright red. Having a sleeveless dress, this was a problem. I religiously applied aloe two or three times a day and it was less noticeable, but I can see it in the pictures. Oh well.

It's crazy to think how one or two sunburns per year can add up. By 25 years old, that number is getting worrisome. Remember to get regular checkups at a dermatologist!

I got a bad sunburn once when I was about 10 years old. I was hanging out with my cousins during the summertime, and we were playing in the yard with a sprinkler and bucket. We didn't put sunscreen on, and that night I couldn't sleep because I got a bad sunburn on my back. I never liked sleeping on my stomach so that was out of the question. That night sucked. >_> I always make sure to put sunscreen on now. My girlfriend once got a very bad sunburn on her shoulder, it looked like she had scales! She had a scar there once it went away, but it's no longer visible.
