If YouTube was to ever offer a service where you could pay $xx per month/year to be able to have access to download any of the videos added, would you purchase the description?

Would it also inspire you, as a video-maker, to make more videos in the hope that they receive downloads and you receive a small amount of commission?

You can already do this. It is a FireFox add on, you can download any video, and even download it in 1080p if it was uploaded in HD. So no, because I can already do it for free 😛

Yes I know that's possible, there are also websites that allow you to download them. But you're violating copyright laws. 😉
