I am hoping you guys will be able to help me out and provide some feedback for me.

Basically a few university friends have come together and we have decided that we would like to start a YouTube channel that's main focus is around pranks. Be it practical jokes on friends filmed, random pranks and telephone pranks.

I have just put up a video and would love some feedback to see if people actually think it is funny or if they do not.

Also, what do you think of the idea generally? Is it overdone? Do you already enjoy watching these types of videos on YouTube?

I'm not too good at prank calling myself. I end up calling a place and using seemingly factual statements, as I am afraid of being caught. It seems you might be doing the same.

If you want to really have a good prank calling channel, may I suggest using, as theezy said, better material to improve the direction in which the prank call goes.

Look up 'Friday Night Cranks', they have some funny prank calls up. Check them out.

I will watch the video when I have some more time to do so; for now I will say this: I LOVE the idea of a youtube prank channel. I love those shows like Punked and candid camera, and all of those other prank shows.

So, I really think this is a great concept--put up some hilarious pranks, and this may have some great potential!

That said, you may want to cut out the prank phonecalls part--might get you some heat, especially with caller ID.

YouTube is more popular and has more people. Increasing the chances it'll be seen.
