I'm switching between Soundcloud Go and YouTube premium for my music. I have downloaded a few Asian and Western sounds and listening to it currently offline. I love it that it doesn't use any Wi-fi or data for it myself, TBH. It's the best feature on most music apps for me anyways.

How much does YouTube premium cost?
I found this. I personally wouldn't pay money on it. For one. Premium offers to aggravate you with no advertisements before or during watching the videos. You can use both UBLOCK Origin and Adblock to get around the ads on Youtube for free. Those extensions alone block ads on Youtube. Another thing on premium that they offer is to let you download music. You can do that with extensions from both Google Chrome and Opera extensions for free as well.
What do you get with Premium? Absolutely nothing for a 11 or more a month! It's roadside robbery and anyone paying for it has been ripped off by a poor service. People honestly need to boycott it.

I too have subscription of YouTube premium. But I am not that blown away with its features as you.
They would have given more features for that price. But anyways, If you are using it only for listening music, it might be enough for you.
