I was watching the replay of Asia's Got Talent last night. There was mention that one contestant named Neil was able to build a house for his family. He uploaded his performance in the contest and he earned from the million views of that video. That was very inspiring.

yes, There are several individuals who can make millions of dollars via youtube. If you have the ability to create videos on topics that people are interested in, you can completely register for monetization with youtube and that can be considered your main job.
YouTube can make you rich. WILL IT? Most likely not. You can earn a decent chunk of change off of YouTube but most people who cash in big get a break of luck, or a video that hits all the right notes and demos. It's not as easy to get 'Youtube rich' as it was a decade ago.
Nope, you gotta be uploading twice a day and each video needs to get over 100K views or more. Earning with YouTube is not easy as it used to be.
When an video get's uploaded it will take up to and hour before it's apprised and to see ads! and mostly the first hour for many is when they get there most views. Then google takes so much percentage for themselves to make off. Then it comes down to the video! if it's to violence then no ads no earnings. Already YouTube automatic disapprove any videos of Call Of Duty titles.
This year has been made allot of very big big channels has lost 20% to 50% this year as google changed things around. It's been so bad that allot of Youtubers went off and moved away to twitch

Well, you could be like that one guy who went on YouTube asking for a million dollars and a famous person obliged? YouTube is not an easy thing to turn into a money-making career. It takes a lot of hard work, time, and dedication to populate a channel. Even the most successful YouTubers were at it for at least a year or longer before they started making any decent money.
YouTube can make you rich but its getting harder and harder with more competition and YouTube changing their algorithms. A lot of people fail to get popular on YouTube and it is definitely not easy but can be rewarding.

This is not an easy task, but, it is possible, if you choose a unique thing which should be leverage with entertainment. you should one more thing keep in your mind "Promotion" this is an important part of it, you should promote it well and after that when people start to come at your video or thousands of people view your video then you start earn money.
