Well if you want to comment on a video or like the video. Yes. But if you are just there to watch the videos, then no its pointless.

You can use your YouTube account to send personal messages to people who might like your forum, and hope they mention you in one of your videos out of kindness.
Yes, YouTube can be worth it since you can put your forum link in your YouTube channel profile, and the link is dofollow the last time I checked, so it passes linkjuice and pagerank.

You can use http://camstudio.org/ screencasting software to record yourself playing flash games on your computer then upload the video to YouTube. You can also record yourself narrating your flash games while you play the game with a mic,

You can create a slide-show, you can use animoto to create a nice video intro, and then narrate the video with your voice.

I want to create a video making team here in Mybb and we can take video request in return of FP, we will need someone with a commercial type voice, a graphic designer (ME), a video editor (me-average knowledge), basically we make the video then the voice person narrates the video, for advertising video we can use power-point.
