If your forum is not making you any money, but you have a reasonable amount of members and there is a clear market for it. There are a few things you can do, if you have a market with a need you can always make money. So you may be doing something wrong. There are many ways you can change the way you present your forum and monetize it, you can take a look around the site for some ideas.

So, if your forum is not/will not make you any money, another use for it is to use it as a way of pointing people to other sites that you own. Think of it as an extra source of traffic.
This also is true for blog's that may not be making much money. Etc.. http://zergnet.com is a brilliant example, of a site which doesn't make money, but pulls in traffic.

PS: you need to do some more work at that forum. You're using a default skin, a not so 'cool' script and have absolutely no threads there. Start at least 10 threads in EACH category and you'll be able to move a little faster with the development. If you like my posts, I can continue helping you.

@Dojo We have only just started the forum so we are trying to get content in there fast, but our main concern is not the forum at the moment, so we will slowly try and build up a post database 🙂 And I liked your posts, 125FP sent.
