Please give it a go, very reliable service - don't worry about your links being unavailable, It's hosted on a Intel core i5 dedicated server with 16gb of ram, gigabit ethernet on a 100mbps port.
Fast service that isn't planning on going anywhere for a long time. We've had over 460 URLs shortened visited over 2,600 times.

Great questions actually. Why Zhuk.in over others? unlike many other short URL services zhuk.in has many customisation options such as creating a custom URL http://zhuk.in/#what you want#, setting a password so only those you share the link with can access it, setting the link to expire at a certain date, this is great for example if you have a competition running that ends on the 20th December, you can set the link to expire on that date to stop getting further entries. You can even limit the amount of times a link can be viewed, for example the first 100 to go to the link will receive 10FP.
It has a great API which is being used on my image hosting service which allows you to use all the features that the full website has.
It has detailed statistics reporting on your URLs created where you can view the unique hits, what day and time you're getting hits / the amount, which countries your visitors are coming from, what websites they found the link from, the web browsers they're using and even operating system.
How can I prove that your links will stay intact? I can't but I've ran a number of services online, that even after a number of years of running are still being developed and are up.
Once I buy a domain, I do not let it expire and the hosting account I have for that domain will always remain on the server. My image hosting website has been registered since 2008 and it's currently re-registered until 2012, and when that needs re-newing it'll be renewed even though it hasn't been worked on in a while and was never finished. You may think if It's not being developed or it's not even finished why is it running? the answer is because people are using the service and I know that if I take down the website all of the images that are being hosted will be unavailable.
I can promise you that Zhuk.in along with my other websites will not be going anywhere anytime soon. I have all of my domains set to auto-renew.
That's all I can say I guess from here if you're thinking of using the service you'll just have to trust me. I hope I've explained myself well.
