Well I was hoping to have ordered one of these today, but after checking them on ebay they are sold out. They retail at £69 each but the only ones on there are people looking to profit off it. Some are going for over £100 plus. Don't look like I will be getting one yet then. 🙁
I also like the ZTE Open Firefox phone since it is an affordable phone which is unlocked without the need for signing up for a 2 year cell service contract to buy a phone at a cheaper price, but latter ending up paying more money over the 2 years than using an unlocked non-subsidized phone like the Firefox ZTE Open.
ZTE’s Open has a 3.5-inch HVGA screen. From there, though it’s all downhill, and the Open’s specs drop to a mere 256MB of RAM, 512MB flash storage, and a Snapdragon S1 processor, running at 800MHz or less. It will arrive with a 3.2-megapixel camera, and should be available in three localizations with different 3G band support.
ZTE Open is not the fastest phone, but the operating system is very light weight, so it should be fast enough for browsing the web, using web apps, and typical phone activities like making calls, text, taking photos, and recording standard quality video at lower resolution.
