Good luck with the forum. It might help if you merge some of your individual forums. For example, you have only 11 posts and 5 different forums in your "Web Development" category. Why not merge all those 5 forums to form a single "Web Development" forum. You can split them out again, when you get busier in the future.

Looks good karoshio, you still have a lot of forums and it might help to reduce the forums in some other section. What's the difference between Website Show Off and Website Promotion?
I'm going to write up guidelines for each but too explain:
Website Show Off is going to be for people who develop there own website, as in: design the graphics and code it themselves. Not as much, but it could also be for if someone wants to show a theme they make for a forum software or something as long as it's 100% by them.
The promotion is just for basic advertisements like this section.
Me and my partner in the website are now making a new forum theme that should be more appealing too everyone. It's going to be based off a nanoskinner template, except all graphics are being re done and i am editing the template to suit the rest.
Merged some forums together and deleted some, keeping it a bit more simple in some areas.
Few edits to theme such as: Rewrote the forumbit_depth2_forum so that the amount of posts and threads in each forum are 'normal'. As much as i like the theme, the 2 in 1 setup with images were horrible.
Still in progress of re doing some of the graphics.
interesting forum. As I am running a MyBB forum as well (see signature) I am always interested in which kind of way people run their forum. So my question for your forum here would be
* What kind of plugins do you use if any?
* Is your theme custom made?
I am currently facing the problem that I am getting some signups from backlinkers which deliver no value other than putting their website into their signature and never post anything. Do you have similar issues? If so, how do you handle them?
Plugins i use are: Page Manager, Google SEO(MUST HAVE) and reCAPTCHA Plugin.
Theme was downloaded from MyBB and is having all of the graphics re done, so it's more our own, although still based off another.
This forum is hard to help you with the bottom part, but i have had other forums with MyBB that were bigger, so i'll try tell you as much as i can from past experience.
I've never had the issue of just linking in signatures before like that, never ever heard of that happening, actually.
