Thanks for the kind offer, although I do graphics as part of my day job I do like it but the colours are wrong, the charity is green so if you could switch it to green it would be epic

Richard is from Deepcar and has recently taken up running for charity. During 2013 he will race in thirteen 10km runs and by doing this is aiming to raise money for the NSPCC.

Well after the 1st race got cancelled, I managed at last minute to get in on the Chernobyl 10km in Preston today. It was very windy and part was flooded and we had to run in water up to our knees for 100m but still completed it in 49:47 (gun time was 50:18) so it is a new PB and we now move on to the next race in 2 weeks time.

So race number 2 is complete. We are awaiting official time but it should be on later today. Sarah stopped me 50ms from finish line with the race clock at 47:45, I then slowly finished the last 50m and crossed it at around 49m dead!!
The route was 4 full laps of the race coarse then you finished on the pit lane. Even though weather was crap it is best race I have done. I did first 1.5 miles in under 10 mins. I even was leading at the start!!!

Been a while but Race 4 has now been completed and have so far raised over £1,000 for charity. We are over halfway to our fundraising total.
