Hey, parents: if you're buying a games console from Wal-Mart, do the right thing and check it out first yourself. That way, you'll avoid what happened to poor little Eliso Tovar.

See, Eliso was treated to a late, late Christmas present from his mum last week. She took him to a Wal-Mart in Manatee County, Florida, and bought him a PSP. All was well!

Until he took it home and turned it on. And found that the wallpaper was of a naked chick. And that the PSP somehow had a memory stick already inside it that was full of "hundreds of pornographic pictures".

Wal-Mart offered to give the kid a new PSP game. Eliso's mum, Tamatha, is having none of it, and wants a whole new PSP instead.

Same thing happened with a Zune before, didn't it?

This also means that the PSP ain't new and was actually used, so she should get a new PSP.

yea she should get a new one!

wal-mart (as well as many other retailers) are bad about re-selling used items at full-price - this should be illegal!

I really doubt this is a real story. I did some looking around on Google and the story doesn't appear on any of the major news sites, also it's the same story on every site...word for word. Normally when there's any incident big enough to make the headlines each news provider writes it up in their own way.

Also assuming this was real, it would be a massive opportunity for the Media to put down Wal-Mart...which undoubtedly they would have taken in their stride.

That is a real shame, at that age they should not be exposed to such things. Oh well, you have to see it some time... -roll-

You are a clever bean!! I like you -🙂-

-lol-

It could be classed as being clever or it could be classed as being pretty sad -lol-

in a few years, that kid's gonna wish he had kept all that porn to himself 😀

at that age aswell :O wow this is a shock to me and should not happen lol!

despite how some people say porn is good for you.

Oh my! Well, it's obviously used. They should certainly give the kid a new system. Even if it was bought open box, doesn't his mom still have a certain amount of time to exchange it?

I seen this thread and I had to revive it with the newest Porn found on a Nintendo 3DS that was apparently returned to... yup, Walmart.

An unexpected discovery was made this week on what was thought to be a new Nintendo 3DS. Expecting to find only the pictures he had taken, Tom Mayhew's eight-year-old son instead found pornographic pictures saved on the new gaming system he received for Christmas, according to WAVY News 10.

"He went to play his games, not knowing anything was on it," Mayhew said. "After a while, [the kids] took pictures of themselves and when the picture was taken it went to a file. When that file was opened, there were already pictures on it."

In total, there were a dozen pornographic pictures found on the system, which is incorrectly identified by the report as being a DS, when it in fact appears to be a 3DS. The system was recently purchased at a Walmart in Hampton, Virginia under the assumption that it was new. Mayhew said he believes the system may have already been purchased and then returned to the store, with those images -- which were dated as being saved in early December -- never being removed prior to it being sold again.

If this story seems familiar, it could be because an extremely similar story was reported last December with a 5-year-old boy and a 3DS sold by GameStop. In that case, GameStop explained that the system had been refurbished but that, rather than being deleted, the pictures stored on it had been overlooked.

Walmart has not yet offered a comment on this latest incident.

Wait a PSP shouldn't have anything on it unless it has a memory card in it. So they probably picked up a used memory card at a different store. You should check though, I doubt most people delete stuff off of them before trading them in.
