$800 in parts later ...

Awesome! I am wanting to build my own machine, as well. So cool!

Do not forget your anti static wrist strap!

haha! 😀

I will try to get some pictures up once I get it together 🙂

That looks really nice! I'm using an i5-2300 and it's great. :O I'm sure you'll be satisfied. My GPU is slightly older than yours, though, and I only have 6GB of memory.

Forgot this thread was here 😱 If I remember, I will post a picture of the computer tomorrow! 🙂

For some reason I doubt it's only got two cores in it Chris, my thinking would be that it is actually a quad. I could of course be wrong :/

You are correct, it acts as a quad core.

This is a bad buy in my opinion. I think you should have just saved your money and bought a Macintosh!

It's not a bad buy 😛 Its great for all the gaming I do.

The GTX 560 is nice and shouldn't any problems with FPS in game.

It clearly shows dual core. how does it act as a quad core?
It should be dual core with four threads. Two of the cores are virtual, I think.

Macs are a bad choice for gaming. You can get gaming PCs much cheaper, and they can run more.

Nice parts. I had fun upgrading my Asus a few months ago. It was my first time and I had no idea what I was doing, but now it all seems so simple.

There really isn't a need for one. Or even an non-magnetized screw driver, really. As long as you're awake and use common sense, all should be good.

I agree, just hold your metal case and you will be fine.
