It's the concept of the picture, the intent is what does the concept of such a situation mean. there are thousands of pictures that are real, this is an artists depiction of what he saw on a side street.
Critical thinking goes far beyond show me this and that. Often we are only given a snapshot and are asked to come up with a position...
So, with the aforementioned what does the content of the depiction mean to you? I have been all over the world and seen this first hand. When I was younger such things did not mean much to me I tended to blow it off but now that I'm older and have my own children this has a far greater impact.
I suppose others will be far more interested in what color is the sky or what they had for lunch
