Thought I'd bump this because my situation has changed from where it was.
Ihave purchased a domain, a host, and the amazing Hitakashi now my good friend too, has been kind enough to donate so many hours of his free time just to do a test for me and clone my forum to his own host free of charge so I can learn. {Just a test.}
I feel rather exhausted by it. The daily job of just running my forum plus all this has left me a bit overwhelmed. I've compiled a huge list of mods for the forum and am fielding them now with my staff. Once they're decided on I'm going to install them and then it's just, letting my staff see the test forum and also learn how to just do their staff duties on it, which I am attempting to make as near to their Proboards powers as possible, because on my present forum we have a system that works. I want to duplicate that system, with the improvements brought about by SMF.
I think I just need a break from the technical side for a day or two so I can sort of reset myself. i'll get started making graphics for what will be the site's first skin, I usually have a lot of fun doing those graphics.
Just always feel like a lazy bum whenever I take a break 😛
