Abortion

It doesn't. what if I am defending the unborn child, which is exactly my point? If a person who is already dead can be defended, why not a person who is not born? They are both equally non-existent on this earth.
Defending an unborn child???? Ha! I am a woman, a 36 year old woman. I am married with two kids. You or any other man in this world have NO RIGHT to tell me what I am allowed to do with something in my body. I am getting so sick these men who think they are able to control what women do with their bodies. You are a joke!!!

Blame our government's "traditional values", not cosmic.

I agree with you. Just like the government should have no right to tell me if I'm allowed to smoke weed or not. Like an abortion it affects no one but me, yet our governments still try to hold such tight grips on things that shouldn't concern them.

Just like the government shouldn't be allowed to read my e-mails and find out about all my super secret recipes. They could market that stuff.

You were once a parasite leeching like a tick off of your mother, at least according to your view. It'd not part of your body, it's a body inside of yours. That is why it's worse of a crime to murder a pregnant woman.

And the UK courts agree with you, in the last couple of years a man went to court to stop an dex girlfriend having an abortion, it was thrown out, and she did what she wanted to.

Actually it isn't. It's only worse of a crime when there's intent to murder the fetus.
Here, for example: http://www.wmctv.com/global/story.asp?s=11207867

Ingram says Nelson's intent to kill the child was obvious by her wounds.

"It looked like he was intent on killing both of them," he said.

Detectives agree. Nelson will be charged with double murder.

Again though, that's a lot different than a mother getting an abortion. That's her body. Her fetus. In these murder cases, it's not women being charged for aborting their fetuses. It's a totally distinct situation.

And there are women like you that think that murder of the unborn should be legal. I am getting so sick these women who think that they can kill humans just because it is in their body. You are a joke!!!!

A woman's body and a woman's choice, that's how I look at it. The government shouldn't have a say in the issue.

So you would allow a woman to abort a child during the third trimester? Even partial-birth abortions?

That's right. I'm not in the business of telling people what to do with their bodies, even if I grossly disagree with it. If a woman wants a late-term abortion, that's her decision to make and carry the emotional burden of.

What about aborting a baby after it is out of the woman, but still attached via an umbilical cord?

You're kidding, right? Or are you so determined to paint me in a bad light? In that scenario abortion wouldn't even be necessary. The baby would either be too premature to survive on its own, or be physically strong enough to survive in a hospital.

Nope, I'm just wondering where your limits are. Since in that case, the baby is still part of the woman's body, it should still be her choice regardless if necessary, correct?

Show me a woman who needs to abort a baby after it's already out of her body. Or did you not read the part of my post where the baby will either die on it's own or live? If it does live, she can surrender it at a hospital.

But it's her body...her choice.

I'm not saying she can't. I'm asking you what purpose an abortion would serve when the baby is already out of her body. You're just resorting to a straw man argument in order to defend your own ideology and need to control what others do with their own bodies.

Because because with what you are saying, she should be able to do it. Maybe she just got sued and doesn't have the money to support a baby, and unexpentatly went into labor. What if a boyfriend who had a good amount of money left her, and she went into labor?

I don't wish to control other people, however I think it is wrong for a woman to have an abortion since it is killing another human. I don't have a problem with people doing what they want to themself as long as it doesn't hurt somebody else.

Then she can surrender the baby as I mentioned above. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe-haven_law

You keep saying 'what if' with these asinine scenarios just to perpetuate the argument. You already know where I stand, why keep pressing with what-if's?

Kirisute I don't even see how what you're saying is at all relevant. When it's out of the woman's body, IT IS NO LONGER IN THE WOMAN'S BODY.
