I see an account upgrade option on multiple forums where the users who have upgraded their accounts have access to better services. Do you have this feature on your forum? Have you made money on your forum through the account upgrade option?

Most forums that I have been on almost offer that anyway and able to win an upgraded account. Yet it's not that high demanding as most people are not interested unless they are willing to support it. A a member what do you want the most when it comes to spending $5
I have premium memberships on my forums, but I don't expect anyone to purchase them, they're just an extra people can buy to help support the site. It's nice if they do, but it's not necessary for the enjoyment of all that the forum has to offer.

I try to support the places I enjoy, I'm just not in a position to more often than not right now. As for everyone else, well...I hate to use this adage as it's more aimed at promiscuity, but why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?
